Species: Aedes pullatus

Importance:

This species is rarely trapped in the state.

Biology:

This is a high elevation mosquito, found in timbered areas.

Identifying Characteristics:

Pointed abdomen, no leg banding, wing mostly dark scaled, area under spiracle with scales, palpi with some pale scales, top of thorax with pair of stripes that are devoid of scales.
